DESCRIPTION:  

This coin is rare in two respects.  The fact that the Combined PCGS and NGC population reports shown only 8 total specimens in Mint State 65 Dimple gem or investment grade is compounded by the variety designation of VAM-41A with only 4 Tail Feathers showing.  For a Deep Mirror, Prooflike Morgan silver dollar this coin has the definite cameo appearance of deeply mirrored, almost black fields surrounding whitish, frosted devices .... the perfect combination of textures for this rare series.  The minor chatter marks near Liberty's cheek cannot distract from the overall excellent presentation of this very rare coin.
